Blogging about Christmas dinner in February when Chinese New Year is just around the corner!! *shake head in disbelieve*
But I guess it’s better late than never…

So, here it goes…
My Dear and I had to go back to Ipoh on Christmas itself and Dear had to go for our church’s caroling session. Which means that we could not celebrate Christmas eve together. The solution to this is the carry forward our Christmas celebration.
The pre-celebration was on the 21st of December 2009, a Monday, over dinner. I wanted to try out this place called Souled Out in Hartamas and my Dear took me there for our Christmas dinner! Thank you Dear…

I vaguely remember my cousin and her then BF, now husband, brought my family and I there for dinner on one of our trips to KL when I was younger. I loved it then and I still loved it now.
The place was packed when we got there and we were given a place on the balcony upstairs! Super love that spot!
Here’s a view from where I was, seeing through the sheer clothes that wraps around the railings of the balcony –

The ambience there is quite nice too. Although there were lots of people there but the noise level was not disturbing or annoying. I’m not sure why is it that way, be it the place that we were seated, or the way things was arranged there, or I might just be in a good mood, but it’s plus.
Food was another thing about this place that stole my heart. They have a great variety to choose from and there are so many dishes that I wanted to try out. But I settled with their Guinness infused dish – Grilled Lamb Rack with Guinness Onion Relish.

Nice… I also fell in love with the side dish. Those baby cabbages and baby potato were so so cute!
It also comes with a complimentary pint of Guinness. I’m not a fan of beer but it’s free so why not.

Dear had steak which was superb but I think he stills prefer the steak in TGI Fridays.

I wanna dine in Souled Out again!! I wanna have these two dishes again and try out other dishes there!

US.
Can it be considered as a candle light dinner?
